Oh yeah....this green-eyed Okie gril (as my little brother used to pronounce girl) is ready for a big day and night. I am getting all "painted up and powdered" for today's special events.
I even bought new makeup!
Geez...can you tell it's been awhile since I've been out?
This afternoon I will attend the wedding of Trish's son, which should be beautiful and full of photo ops. Then tonight, Tam and I are heading down the mountain to a bar ::gasp:: to enjoy the music of two bands comprised of some of my illustrious co-workers.
I am a cheap date. One drink and I am ready to go home, but I will try to stay up past my bed time tonight and have a good time among drunk adults.
If anything, it will make for good journal fodder.
