Binge Shopping

There's nothing I enjoy more than a good shopping spree!

Right now I'd have to say I have been "binge shopping!"  Shopping til I drop!  Shopping as if I had all the money I could ever want!

And, it's so much fun!

Since I refinanced, I've been in the process of remodeling and creating a whole new look in my house.  The house is only 15 years old, but it needed some pizazz!  So we're going for it!  New tile, countertops, carpeting and paint, window treatments, fixtures/appliances, etc.   I am even getting new furniture and today I found a couple of pieces in an antique store that I couldn't live without!  Photos forthcoming!

Anyway, today we had to pick up some big ticket items down the mountain.  I followed the truck in my car.  So after I made my choices known at Home Depot, I let the guys bring it all home and I stayed down there and shopped, and shopped!

I really love the thrill of the hunt; finding that perfect little something for someone, or somewhere in my home.  Today, I hit the jackpot!  Got that cute picture for my upstairs bathroom (upper left), new Farberware flatware, the springtime resin figures, a coffee cup for my secretary for "Administrative Professional's Day" (this month) and several books (25 cents each) that are Oprah's Book Club selections!  A bargain for sure!

The beautiful basket is a gift from a friend, filled with chocolate from our new Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory store!  (Yum!)

Well, it's back down the mountain tomorrow to pick up my purchase at the antique store....but I may get a little side tracked.  So many stores...so little time!

  1. My husband doesn't understand shopping as a hobby. It's one of my favorite things to do. If only I had the money to do it as much as I want. Lisa :-]

  4. Ah, a woman after my own heart! Not only shopping but nailing the bargains to boot. And that only means one thing--- money left over to shop some more. Kristi
