Quirks

Quirks......I guess we all have them and one of mine surfaced last night.  The kids were surprised that I hadn't added it to the 25 Things About Me list.  I would have, but it just didn't occur to me, until Papa started opening that new prescription! 

Ewwwww!  That bottle was stuffed with cotton! 

I cannot stand to touch cotton!

It just drives me crazy!!!  In my mind, it's like someone running their fingers along a chalkboard.  It just feels gross.   

If I am in a position where I haven't got a family member to open a pill bottle and pull that icky stuff out, I will use a knife or tweezers to grab it. 

I ain't touchin' it! 

And, at the dentist's office, it about puts me over the edge when they stuff one of those long cotton pieces in next to a tooth when they want to keep it dry!  Gag!

So, what's your weirdest quirk?

    I get the same feeling when I touch wooden spoons or popsicle sticks.  I won't even eat a popsicle anymore.  :::Shiver:::

    quirks?  I have so many, it would be easier to name the normal things about me!!  I guess it would be always doing things in the same exact order every time-- I always wash silverware first, then the glasses then, the dishes, followed by pots, pans and casserole dishes. Same with make up, I always put on moisturizer on first, and while my face drinks it up, I get out my make up, line it up on the counter, and as I apply each product I put it back in the drawer, slowly clearing the counter.   I am borderline obsessive compulsive.. can you tell???     I don't know if this is a quirk...but I like using a straw to drink from water bottles. I don't HAVE to == but I Like to. Everyone at work knows that it is my water bottle it there is a Red straw sticking out of it. LOL...at least they leave MY stuff alone.
