1. Oh, I am so freakin' naive at times! ::shakes head::
2. I am so grateful for all my life's changes, big and little.
3. During my sleep, I snore and sometimes stop breathing.
4. My natural gas bill up 40 percent; are you kidding me???
5. Right now I'd like to be in one of the places that I consider a "peaceful safe haven." Location, location, location.
6. Duh! The computer is my favorite gadget.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to eating an IN and OUT cheeseburger, just prior to driving back up the mountain from our trip all the way down there just to go to the damn pharmacy, tomorrow my plans include biting off a few pieces of the elephant in the dining room and Sunday, I want to finish him off!
Clarification requested by some of my readers...In and Out (<--click on In and Out in the first sentence of this paragraph for more info) is a great "fast-food" place to get a very fresh hamburger and awesome fries. They cut their own potatoes right there in front of you and serve them hot and delicious! They are only in California, Nevada, Utah and Arizona.
Us Californians LOVE In and Out because it's soooo YUMMY, and the staff are extremely well trained in customer service, so they get paid more than the average fast food restaurant.

No darn it, the elephant is not chocolate, because if it was, it would have been polished off long before now!! I always tell Ab the best way to tackle a big project is like you'd eat an elephant...one little bit at time! My elephant is a huge stack of paperwork, magazines and mail that has piled up since before Christmas and I think it multiplies in the night as it's completely covered the dining room table. I am going to attack it, one bite at a time!!

LOL An elephant in the dining room is interesting...
ReplyDeleteP.S.: I'm amazed, I'm one of 3 visitors from Germany here!
Have a great weekend and chew gingerly on that elephant!
ReplyDeleteWhat is an in and out burger, or maybe i do not want to know? hehe
Laughing at Cat's comment - I can imagine what I would have thought if I didn't know of them. They aren't nation wide so I can understand her confusion. Still, I have to laugh.
ReplyDeleteThe elephant has me intriqued. I assume, chocolate?
Monica
You must elaborate on the elephant!
ReplyDeletePS. This is my 4th try getting this comment to post.
Wow Lisa at least you have the guts to admit the 800-lb gorilla is sitting at the table waiting for someone to pass the mashed potatoes - most folks just ignore it, elephant, gorilla, dinosaur, same difference. Thanks for your comment on my last post, I share your feelings and admit to being a complete fence-sitter, a middle-woman, a moderate-everything, and I didn't vote for Mr. B either. I was hoping Dr. Paul would stay in the race, he has great ideas while still keeping his spot on the fence. Yup, can't win for losin! (Yer the only other person I've seen use that term, everytime I do folks just stare at me like "duh, wha?" lol :-)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with that elephant!
ReplyDeleteIn and Out sounds wonderful...but I don't eat beef anymore. Do them make turkey burgers? LOL
My son-in-law recently visited us here is So Cal from Illinois where he lives. With wife and two daughters in tow, In-n-Out was on the must visit: two or three times in their two week visit. Yum!!!
ReplyDeletehave fun reading the mail
