WHAT THE HELL?

preg Pictures, Images and Photos

Everyone involved in this situation clearly needs some adult supervision. And they should be made to provide support for this brood mare and her litter, because with what little I know right now... I don't imagine she's going to be given a television show a'la John and Kate, Plus 8!

Will people be sympathetic? I am not so sure, all considered.

I am all about the "Live and Let Live" concept in life, and would normally say, "Whatever!" when it comes to someone who already has 6........yes, SIX children under the age of SEVEN....using fertility treatments to conceive once again, BUT.

Yes, BUT!!!

Single handedly, this apparently unmarried California woman, who LIVES at home with her parents-has caused the City workers in Whittier, to have to run out and change the population signs, now that she's given birth to OCTUPLETS!

That's EIGHT newborns.

I will do the math for you. THAT MAKES 14, YES...FOURTEEN CHILDREN THAT SHE NOW HAS! The media has reported that her "older" chidren are ages, 7, 6, 5, 3 and 2 year old twins.

Grandpa, in all his wisdom decided to throw out a challenge to the news media who are now camped outside of their very modest home, by saying; "We have a huge house, not here. You are never going to know where it is."

Seriously Gramps? You will live to regret that comment! They'll find you and dig up more dirt on you people than you could ever imagine. Ask Britney Spears.

Anyway, I wish them well and I may even send them a few bucks for a couple packages of disposable diapers as Heaven knows they're going to need the help.

Then maybe not, as The Enquirer, always a classy "newspaper" will probably pay them for the story and photos.

News at 11!!

  1. This whole situation sickens me. 6 kids, lives with her parents in a 2-3 bedroom house and just added 8 more. I have a feeling the people of the great state of California are paying for that mess. Is this woman even married? Ugh!

  2. I'm sick to my stomach. If what is being reported is accurate and this young unmarried mother of six kids under 7 living with her parents used IVF, then I take major exception on many many levels. I also have questions like...

    1. Why would a fertility doctor allow a young mother who already has six children to do IVF..no medical necessity.
    2. Why would eight embrios be implanted? Way beyond standard protocol and dangerous to mother and babies.
    3. Who paid for the IVF and why?

As a California taxpayer, I hope the Grandparents are independantly wealthy, so they can pay for care, and I think the medical board should revoke the doctor's license.

  3. I, too, am a nay-sayer. But it may be out of pettiness. I would love just one of the babies.

When our attempt at a third proved unsuccessful, I thanked God for the two he had given me, naturally.

    But that's just me.

  4. I'm all for having families...but from what I've read, this woman is single, she lives with her parents, she used a sperm donor (the same one) for all her children, and her father is going back to Iraq to support the family?

    I don't know.

I think it's incredibly sad and yes, I think the California tax payers will be supporting this family, absolutely.

    XOXO

  5. Sad situation. Every child deserves having their needs met on all levels including time and attention. How could this happen in this situation?

  6. What a great post! I have 4 children, including twins, all conceived the old fashioned way. I love kids and used to borrow kids before I had my own, but that said...I know how much work it was to have twins. This woman is out of her mind, and there's no doubt in my mind that taxpayers will help pay for her brood.

  7. The taxpayers will be footing the bill for this little experiment for the next 18 years.

A cervix is not a clown car.

  8. I'm with you. The woman seems seriously mentally needy. She should have just bought a dog or 8.

  10. I just could not help thinking who paid the fertility doctor and why.
And why would a doctor support this with a mother of 6.
And I can't help but think that we must not know the whole story.

  11. Well don't sugar coat it on my account. You definitely have a valid point. Some of us are learning to only make enough babies that we can afford. As for marriage well there are only 2 ways out of those one is divorce and the other is death, it seems like a non winning combo to me. I love my life and I pray for that woman to not go post pardum like Andrea Yates, it sounds harsh but it is true. Put this one in your "God Box" and let it go we have better things in life to talk about.

  12. I always thought you had to undergo some kind of psych test, to see if you were of the right mind before under going fertility programs. This is just so far out in left field it's not even funny. (Hugs)Indigo
