Thankful Thursday

Thankful Pictures, Images and Photos

It's time to reflect on those things for which I am especially grateful!

1. Men who can cook! I am soooo very grateful for a couple of guys in my life that can cook! They can really cook GOOD, nutritious food! Right now one of those guys is grilling us ribs and he's made Strawberry Shortcake for Dessert! I am not so sure there's a lot of nutrition in shortcake, but we'll count the fruit as nutrition! YUM! Man....ummm, no pun intended.....I've been eating good lately!

2. My kids doing the BIG grocery shopping yesterday! Oh yeah, that's nice! I sat in the car and enjoyed my iPod-with all kinds of new music, thanks to a friend's extensive music collection that he recently let me copy onto my computer/iPod-while they did that drudgery. Ugghhh!

3. Modern Technology-my iPod..see above and my computer. I so love my computer and can't imagine life without it!

4. Ellen Degeneres-I just think she's one of the most fun and sincere personalities on TV and I find myself just cracking up while I watch her show! Laughter is so good for the soul!

5. Movies-Over this past weekend I enjoyed at least 4 movies, three of which I hadn't seen before and each of them touched my heart in some manner! They were, One Fine Day; with George Clooney who is so easy on the eyes, The Visitor, What Dreams May Come and Juno! I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to see those movies and relax with a dear friend while doing so!

6. A visit to Forestiere Underground Gardens with my Roadie! And....the photo ops! See previous entry!

  1. OMG I loved Juno! My GF had been trying to get me to watch it for ages. I finally did and we watched it three times. I even put the soundtrack on my myspace page!

My latest find was The Holiday with Cameron Diaz - that movie is wonderful.

Nothing like children who do the big grocery shopping. That was so worth buying the car, the insurance, the fuel... just to avoid Wal-Mart hell, its worth it!

take care, have a great weekend
    =) kris

  2. Yes I have to agree with you on the whole 'Men who can cook' notion. And I have to admit that I don't give mine enough credit. I hear of partners who do not even know how to boil water. Thank god for me :)
