Once again, I have crammed too much into one day and my mouth..........and I sit here about to fall asleep, but too tired to head up the stairs to bed.
Well, maybe it isn't just that I am physically tired, I may have overdosed on sugar tonite at Bunco (also known as Girl's Just Wanna Have Fun or a Weiner Roast (another word for fun man bashing as my friend Chuck calls it!) I think (who's kiddin' who?) I am crashing from a spectacular sugar high!
This lady went all out for us........
Let's see......bite sized cream puffs, conversation hearts in various colors; (which might as well be pure sugar) brownies, fresh strawberries to dip in warm,gooey white-chocolate (now I know what to do with that little tiny Crock Pot!) Treasures Chocolate Candy filled with caramel, RED, PINK and WHITE holiday M&Ms, all balanced with chips and dips, Lil Smokies, fresh veggies and dip, brie cheese baked in croissants, pretzels with spicy mustard, etc.
I should know better than to eat all that sugar. Just about everyone in my family is diabetic, and I am fixin to follow in their footsteps if I don't get a grip!
Can you imagine, after it was all over she brought out a huge lattice top apple pie......"Dessert anyone?"

ReplyDeletewell, at least I am the topic of someone's conversation...roasting is good, keeps one humble... Besides I am innocent of any wrong doing other than that you chose to believe... You are just mad at yourself for not being there when you should have cause your too stubborn... So, keep on roastin' and I'll keep on toastin'... C'ya...
