I've got MOON Face!
Moon face is caused by Prednisone, a medicine often used to treat inflammation. Yep, you take these tiny, nasty tasting pills for several days and then you wake up with your face all puffy and round! So, if it's supposed to treat inflammation, (which is kinda like swelling, with pain) how come it makes your face swell?
I found out......
Last night I went to my "fat" doctor, for my two week check up after getting back on my diet meds. I peeled off my coat, shoes, and jewelry, because every little bit helps. Then I s-o-f-t-l-y stepped up on the scale as if stepping lightly would make a difference. I knew that I hadn't quite got into the swing of things with the diet again and I had been kinda hit and miss with the medication. The doctor says it takes a good week or so for the meds to reach their peak effectiveness.
But......geez....I'd gained 3 and a half pounds! *Gasp*
Was it all in my face?
Dr. Robinson's medical assistant, with her hand firmly planted on her not so slim hip, sternly said..."OK Lisa....Whhhhhuuuuuttt happened here?"
*Gulp*
"Ummmmmm. I.....I dunno.......Um...." *panic*

give me some links on your entries that would tell me more about you.
I'm a slow reader , so I find going through journals a little time consuming.
