Home Remodeling-Part II

After seeing the awesome pantry that Steve (my handyman extraordinaire) created for me (in an area of previously wasted space underneath the stairs) I decided that I'd just update the present kitchen.  Besides, there's just 3 of us at home now, so there's not much sense in creating a whole new kitchen, since we may want to build a smaller home on our new lot in a few years.

This pantry is incredible.....a walk-in, with 5 shelves for canned goods and all, then room for those small appliances that you don't use all the time, like Crock Pots and Bread Makers!  We've got the fancy door on order, which will really make it a modern pantry.  It's a 24 inch wide door with etched, frosted glass with the word PANTRY on the top half, like they're using in all the model homes.  

Next we'll be refinishing the cabinets, putting in a new sink/faucet and cooktop in preparation for the new solid surface counters.  Plus a new microwave/oven combo and fridge and then......we'll be all set.

Then, I may even hafta cook! 

Naaahhhhh!  Wouldn't want to mess up a perfectly new, pretty kitchen, would I!
